The hiatus lasted nearly a year, and as time passed my desire to wrestle grew stronger. I missed the sport, and I wanted to come back only when I genuinely felt ready. My first match back was against Kris Statlander at EVE, a wrestler I had long admired and who was on my bucket list. Recently I faced Shotzi Blackheart at House of Glory, wrestling in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Now I can choose to compete for enjoyment and passion, rather than out of obligation.
