Emilio Sakraya (Rheingold, Those About to Die, Fortitude), Omid Abtahi (The Mandalorian, American Gods), Jamie Ward (The Gentlemen, His Dark Materials) and Nabeel Khan (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, Strike Back) have been cast in recurring roles in One Piece: The Battle of Alabasta, the upcoming third season of the Netflix series. The new actors were announced Sunday during the One Piece Day stage event in Tokyo, Japan, as production wraps in Cape Town, South Africa.
Sakraya will star as Koza, Abtahi as Toto, Ward as Pell, and Khan as Chaka.
They join the core Straw Hat ensemble—Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji)—alongside Charithra Chandran (Miss Wednesday), Mikaela Hoover (Nami), Joe Manganiello (Mr. 0), Lera Abova (Miss All Sunday), and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Nefartari Cobra). Recent additions to the Season 3 lineup include Cole Escola (Bon Clay), Xolo Maridueña (Portgas D. Ace), Daisy Head (Miss Doublefinger), and Awdo Awdo (Mr. 1).

Season 3 follows Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew as they enter the perilous Grand Line, arriving in the desert kingdom of Alabasta— Princess Vivi’s homeland—where a rebellion threatens to engulf the nation. The conflict is secretly orchestrated by the ruthless Sir Crocodile and his organization, Baroque Works, who seek to conquer the Seven Warlords of the Sea. As the season centers on unbreakable bonds and impossible choices, the Straw Hats must confront a civil war and a formidable warlord to prevent Alabasta’s collapse into the sands.
Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes serve as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers. Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements executive produce through Tomorrow Studios, together with Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda.
