Two tranches totaling just over 72,184,793 shares were minted on Thursday at 02:58 and 04:13 UTC, each bearing an identical receipt code and a share price of $1.039.
The transaction records do not disclose the identities of the investors, the source of the funds, or any link to the fund’s existing holdings on the Stellar network.
According to RWA.xyz, Franklin Templeton’s position on the XRP Ledger is valued at approximately $193 million based on the share count at par value. However, Thursday’s recorded share price suggests a valuation nearly $8 million higher.
Why a Single Wallet?
Brokers and custodians frequently consolidate shares for multiple clients into a single omnibus account, maintaining separate internal records for individual ownership.
Franklin Templeton’s fund documentation describes a register that combines on-chain entries with off-chain records, including data “which links the wallet addresses of the entries on the distributed ledger to their real-world identities.”
It remains unclear whether this specific wallet represents a single investor or a pooled vehicle for several participants.
CoinDesk inquired whether the address functions as an omnibus account, how many investors contributed to the subscriptions, and whether they or their custodians will receive tokens at distinct addresses. The firm had not responded as of Saturday morning in Asia.
Franklin Templeton and DBS unveiled the fund’s Singapore-authorized structure in November 2025 with a $20 minimum investment. Initially offered to wealth and accredited clients, retail access was anticipated for early 2026.
