Geese Ignite Festival 2026 with Rain‑Soaked Set – Full Video Inside

Geese took the stage at Reading Festival 2026 on August 28, delivering a memorable performance amid heavy rain.

Frontman Cameron Winter and the band made their festival debut, appearing just before their Leeds show on August 29. They performed against a backdrop of triumphant sports clips, featuring a Wayne Rooney goal and a perfect leg from Michael Smith in the 2023 World Darts Championship.

Despite the downpour, the audience turned out in large numbers, many dressed in ponchos and mud‑splattered. Winter joked about the weather, urging fans not to “drink the water” seeping into The Gallery tent.

“It’s not good for you,” Winter told the crowd, noting the soaked, mud‑covered attendees.

The set opened with “Husbands” from their latest album Getting Killed, followed by fan favorites “Half Real,” “2122,” and “Cobra,” closing with “Trinidad.”

The set comes as part of their ongoing UK tour, which will include two headline shows at London’s Troxy on September 1 and 2. They will then headline the opening night of End Of The Road on September 3.

Geese’s latest album ‘Getting Killed’ received five stars from NME.

In a five‑star review of Geese’s Hammersmith Apollo show earlier this year, NME wrote: “While Winter’s last solo gig in these parts revealed him as a Tom Waits or Nick Cave for our time, tonight feels like one of those hallowed shows seeing Nirvana or The Strokes come into their own, or Radiohead finding their voice.”

“In any way, it’s between Geese and Fontaines D.C. to define this decade as a band.”
