New York Giants brought in free‑agent cornerback Jaden Robinson for a workout Monday, according to the NFL’s transaction wire.
The session occurred on the same day the Giants also evaluated edge rusher Dean Lowry, who was later signed to the practice squad. This move underscores Big Blue’s focus on bolstering its secondary, a unit that has shown mixed play this season.
Robinson, an undrafted rookie from Oregon State, entered the league after the 2025 draft. He originally signed with the Denver Broncos as a rookie free agent and spent the entire preseason on their offseason roster. He made the practice squad for the 2025 campaign but was not added to the active roster. Robinson signed a futures contract with the Broncos for the 2026 offseason before being waived with an injury designation on August 7.
On the field, Robinson recorded a 40‑yard dash time of 4.49 seconds, a 38‑inch vertical jump, and a 10‑foot‑4‑inch broad jump during his pro day.
With the Giants’ secondary’s inconsistent performance, the team is expected to continue scouting talent at cornerback and other defensive back positions.
