The Giants have reinstated quarterback Jake Haener to the practice squad, the organization disclosed on Saturday.
Haener, 27, was moved from the active roster earlier this week.
At the time, J.J. McCarthy and Jameis Winston remained on a 53‑player roster at the position.
The team added wide receiver Jalin Hyatt to fill the open slot; his sole snap of the season was in a game against the Texans, where he contributed four offensive runs and six special‑teams appearances.
Additionally, running back Phil Mafah and outside linebacker Dawuane Smoot were promoted from the practice squad.
