Jaxson Dart connected with Isaiah Likely for two touchdowns as the New York Giants edged the Dallas Cowboys 28-20 on Sunday night.
Dart added a touchdown pass to Devin Singletary, while Cam Skattebo scored on the ground in his return from injury, marking a successful debut for new head coach John Harbaugh.
Dart completed 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards and added 54 rushing yards. Likely caught eight passes for 78 yards in his New York debut after following Harbaugh from Baltimore.
No. 1 receiver Malik Nabers returned from a torn ACL in his right knee, recording six catches for 69 yards. Skattebo, returning from a broken fibula and dislocated ankle, rushed for 81 yards on 18 carries and celebrated with his signature back flip after an untouched touchdown run.
Dak Prescott threw one interception but finished 22 of 34 for 175 yards, with touchdown passes to CeeDee Lamb and Javonte Williams, who also scored on the ground.
The Cowboys struggled with eight penalties for 85 yards and a sluggish defensive start.
During a pre-game ceremony commemorating the 9/11 attacks 25 years later, Harbaugh wore an NYPD cap in the first half before switching to an FDNY hat in the second half.
