The Golden State Warriors will soon sport a new corporate patch on their jerseys, establishing a fresh standard for sports sponsorships.
IREN, an Australian‑based vertically integrated AI cloud platform, will display its brand on the team’s uniforms starting with the 2026‑27 season under a deal valued at over $50 million annually.
According to Sportico, the agreement represents the largest sponsorship transaction ever recorded in North American sports.

The agreement is administered by the Golden State Group, the conglomerate that oversees the Warriors, the WNBA’s Golden State Valkyries, and the NBA G‑League’s Santa Cruz Warriors, among other entities.
‘The Warriors jersey badge serves as our most visible global platform, making it essential to partner with a brand that shares our vision for innovation and community impact,’ Golden State Chief Commercial Officer Mike Kitts said in a press release. ‘IREN is dedicated to advancing technology, education, and local initiatives, perfectly aligning with our ambition to drive global innovation and create a lasting legacy throughout the Bay Area and beyond.’
‘What sets Golden State apart is the platform they’ve cultivated — championship success, a pioneering business model, and a deep community commitment that reinforce one another over time,’ said Daniel Roberts, Co‑Founder and Co‑CEO of IREN.

At IREN, we view our business through a comparable lens. We own and operate the entire infrastructure stack — including power generation, data centers, and compute resources — enabling us to support the world’s most demanding AI workloads while investing in the communities that sustain us. This partnership unites two entities focused on execution and sharing a dedication to the people and the city shaping the future.
Beyond the jersey patch, the collaboration designates IREN as the Official AI Cloud Partner of Golden State, adds branding to warm‑up apparel for the WNBA’s Valkyries and the Santa Cruz Warriors, provides prominent exposure throughout San Francisco’s Chase Center, and serves as the presenting sponsor for the Warriors’ annual City Edition program.
