Hang Seng Elliott Wave 1-Hour Chart 09.10.2026
We examined the Elliott Wave structure on the Hang Seng Index and identified the completion of a cycle that began at the June 26 low. Our analysis suggested that a deeper correction would follow, targeting a retest of the 22,517 level. The market subsequently validated this outlook as price action unfolded.

Three weeks later, the index followed the projected decline, and the wave pattern shifted. The former cycle from the 26,190 peak now shows incomplete sequences, which help pinpoint potential target zones with greater precision.
Price action is developing an Elliott Wave Double Three pattern. Using the Fibonacci Extension tool, we measure ((w)) relative to ((x)) to estimate the target range. With the index still below the ((x)) black high, a move toward the 23,419–22,281 area is anticipated. At this level, profit‑taking by sellers and buying interest from buyers are expected to produce at least a three‑wave bounce.
Concurrently, a three‑wave bounce in (x) blue is foreseen before the broader downtrend resumes.
