Hearts have completed a deal to sign Forest Green Rovers captain Laurent Mendy.
The midfielder has been on Hearts’ wanted list for the past two transfer windows, with the club previously having a bid turned down in January.
However, a deal has now finally been struck for the 29‑year‑old French‑born player, who will become Hearts’ tenth summer signing.
Mendy joined Forest Green in 2025 from Macclesfield and featured in 47 matches for the English National League side last season.
Talks over personal terms are now underway as Hearts prepare for the first leg of their Champions League second‑round qualifier against Sturm Graz on Tuesday (19:30 BST).
