The historic Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra monastery, a cornerstone of Eastern Orthodox Christianity and a UNESCO World Heritage site, was engulfed in flames following a Russian airstrike on Kyiv. The overnight attacks also resulted in four fatalities and numerous injuries.
