The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta is set to arrive soon, giving players a first look at the premium multiplayer experience before its full launch. Consistent with previous years, the beta will feature a Jays selection of maps, weapons, items, and game modes.

The beta is projected for late September or early October, and additional details are expected to be announced at Gamescom.

As with prior releases, access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta requires a pre‑order of any edition of the game. Digital pre‑orders will grant immediate beta access through the storefront at launch. Physical pre‑orders provide a code via email, retailer receipt, or the physical copy itself.

Games often distribute extra beta codes on social media and through brand partnerships, sponsored streams, and similar channels. If a pre‑order isn’t an option, be sure to keep an eye out on official channels for such giveaways.

“War erupts on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea launches a full‑scale invasion that threatens to destabilise the world in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. A young squad of South Korean soldiers fight to survive on collapsing front lines, while half a world away a vengeful Captain Price wages a personal war from the shadows, staying one step ahead of those hunting him. As Price’s off‑book mission collides with forces behind the invasion, the war spreads beyond anyone’s control.”
