The Luxembourg Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organized the inaugural ICAI International Conference 2026 – Europe.
The event took place at GRIDX in Wickrange, Luxembourg, as reported by the news agency Asian News International.
Attendees included chartered accountants (CAs), finance professionals, business leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, and members of the Indian diaspora from across Europe and further afield.
The program featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, felicitation ceremonies, and networking sessions.
Discussions covered cross‑border business collaboration, emerging global opportunities, finance, innovation, leadership, technology, and the evolving role of chartered accountants in a shifting global economy.
ICAI leadership noted that the conference sought to strengthen professional networks across Europe and foster collaboration among finance professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
Organizers also highlighted the event as a platform for knowledge exchange and professional development, while reinforcing ties among ICAI members throughout Europe.
The conference also presented the Achievers’ World Excellence Awards 2026, recognizing global leaders from the United States, India, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the United Arab Emirates for their contributions to socio‑economic development and nation‑building.
In a separate update, ICAI launched its 65th Campus Placement Programme for newly qualified chartered accountants, with more than 6,300 candidates registered.
The Indian Express reported that the placement drive targets candidates who cleared the CA Final exam in May 2026, linking them with employers in analytics, audit, banking, consulting, finance, information technology, risk management, and taxation.
