IDF forces carried out a nighttime operation on a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon, according to the military’s Wednesday announcement.
During the operation, the IDF employed six tons of explosives to dismantle over 20 Hezbollah infrastructure targets in the region.
In a subsequent operation, the IDF reported the destruction of a booby-trapped Hezbollah explosives storage facility.
Earlier on Wednesday, in a joint statement with the Israel Police, the IDF disclosed the interception of a suspected weapons smuggling attempt on Tuesday night.
IDF patrol units along the eastern border uncovered a bag containing ten pistols and ammunition.
The seized weapons were transferred to the police for investigative purposes.
