Illinois has added in-state quarterback depth to their 2026 recruiting class, announcing the signing of Unity standout Dane Eisenmenger on Wednesday.
Eisenmenger, who previously committed to Central Missouri for the upcoming fall season, has flipped his pledge to join the Illini. The quarterback led Unity’s offense before his team fell in the 3A state title game to Byron in November.
Ranked as the 12th in-state commit in Illinois’ 2026 class, Eisenmenger will join a young quarterback room headlined by ECU transfer Katin Houser under head coach Bret Bielema.
