India’s Men’s Cricket Team Schedule and Opponents at Asian Games 2026

India’s men’s cricket team will open their Asian Games 2026 campaign on September 28, entering the competition directly into the quarter-finals. The tournament, featuring T20 matches, is scheduled to unfold at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin, Aichi, from September 24 to October 3.

As the defending men’s T20 champions, India is among four seeded teams—Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka—who received direct entry into the quarter-finals. Their quarter-final opponent will be determined by the second-placed team from Group A, which includes Afghanistan, Japan, and Nepal. Group A matches are scheduled for September 24, 25, and 26, with final standings setting India’s fate.

Group B consists of Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Oman, with the top two advancing to face Pakistan and Bangladesh in separate quarter-final matches.

Path to Gold Medal
