Apple’s upcoming Siri overhaul, slated for iOS 27, reflects a ChatGPT‑like redesign infused with Liquid Glass aesthetics. According to Bloomberg, the latest renders showcase the new app and chat interface for Siri. These visuals, derived from Bloomberg and insiders familiar with Apple’s roadmap, may still differ from the final implementation that Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman anticipates will be unveiled at WWDC in June.

The mockups depict a novel pill‑shaped Siri chat bubble emerging from the Dynamic Island, accompanied by a dropdown menu offering options such as Ask, Siri, and ChatGPT. As Gurman notes, users can activate the bubble by swiping down from the center of the top edge of the screen. This functionality is expected to operate system‑wide in iOS 27, mirroring the Android Gemini experience where a long‑press on the home button initiates a Gemini conversation, regardless of the active application.

In Bloomberg’s renders, the new standalone Siri app mirrors ChatGPT’s interface, featuring a pill‑shaped query field, buttons for attachment upload and voice activation, and a chat history view. Earlier conversations are projected to appear both as a scrollable list and as a series of rectangular entries, reminiscent of note‑taking layouts in Google Keep.

Bloomberg also provides a preview of an updated Camera application that is rumored to introduce a dedicated Siri mode and expanded customization settings. The renders reveal a new widget menu for adding or removing controls within the Camera app, featuring a “Siri” toggle positioned between the “Photo” and “Portrait” modes. A comparable AI “Tools” editing option appears in Bloomberg’s mockup of the forthcoming Photos app, which is expected to incorporate three additional AI‑driven editing functions alongside the existing “Clean Up” capability.

Apple is slated to showcase its major Siri overhaul at WWDC, which commences on June 8th. The keynote is also expected to highlight forthcoming updates across Apple’s operating systems.
