Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported that four tankers caught fire in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz after striking naval mines. According to the IRGC, the vessels struck the explosive devices while navigating what Tehran described as unauthorized routes in the waterway.
