Iran Reports Strikes on Southern Military Sites; U.S. Denies Involvement

Iranian state media reported early Friday that explosions struck military headquarters in Bushehr province and the port city of Konarak. The incidents occurred on the same day as the funeral for the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The United States told Al Jazeera it was not responsible for the military strikes.
