Israel Police confirmed on Thursday that a man was apprehended after being observed carrying an axe in the vicinity of an IDF recruitment center in Haifa.
Law enforcement officers responded to the scene immediately following reports of the suspicious activity. The individual was subsequently detained and taken into custody for questioning.
According to police officials, no injuries were reported and there was no immediate threat to public safety. The incident is currently under active investigation.
