Israeli rights group B’Tselem has condemned the ‘unprecedented killing of Palestinian children and teenagers in the West Bank’.

Israeli forces have killed four Palestinian men and an eight-year-old boy in Gaza, while a 15-year-old boy died from injuries sustained during an Israeli raid in the occupied West Bank.
An Israeli drone struck the Wadi al-Salqa bridge on al-Baraka Street in central Gaza on Monday morning, killing eight-year-old Malik Wael Abu Shaweesh, Ali Fayez Isbaitan, and Hassan Salman al-Hanajra, according to the Wafa news agency.
Later on Monday, an Israeli airstrike at a beach in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killed two individuals and injured 27 others, as reported by Gaza’s civil defense agency.
In the West Bank, 15-year-old Ahmad Jawad Jaber succumbed to fatal gunshot wounds to the chest and head after an Israeli operation in the Umm al-Sharayit neighborhood of el-Bireh, near Ramallah, the Palestinian health ministry stated. Laila Ghannam, the governor of Ramallah and el-Bireh, condemned the incident as an “execution in broad daylight,” calling it a disgrace to institutions claiming to uphold human rights.
Israeli rights group B’Tselem reported that 241 Palestinian children and teenagers have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces since October 7, 2023, citing a lack of accountability in Israeli policy. The report also noted that some children’s bodies remain withheld from families.
Since October 7, 2023, at least 1,085 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank by Israeli forces or settlers. In Gaza, the death toll exceeds 73,000 during the same period, according to the Gaza health ministry.
On Sunday, Israeli attacks in Gaza killed four Palestinians, including 13-year-old Eileen al-Farra, who died from shrapnel injuries caused by shelling in the southern region.
