LeBron James Acknowledges Team-Dynamics Challenge After 76ers’ Pre-Season Setback
LeBron James noted that building camaraderie among his new teammates will require time after guiding his group past a loss in the franchise’s pre-season showcase, stressing that the adjusted roster still needs cohesion to succeed.
At the age of 41, the veteran arrived in Philadelphia for his record‑shattering 24th NBA season, claiming himself as the league’s all‑time top scorer with four scoring titles spanning two Heat rosters, one with the Cavaliers and another with the Lakers.
During the preview contest, James recorded ten points together with four rebounds, five assists and a steal over the course of eighteen minutes, finishing behind against the Brooklyn Nets in a 114‑108 defeat.
“We’re still working to place each person so we can grow and support one another most effectively on the court. It will take some time,” James said.
James described the night as a solid stepping stone for the emerging unit.
The forward featured alongside newcomers Joel Embiid, VJ Edgecombe, Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown, whose performance topped the night with eighteen points.
Throughout his illustrious career, which included multiple championship rings, a four‑time MVP honor earned from 2009 through 2013, and three successive decades as an All‑Star, James aims to accelerate the Philadelphia 76ers toward their first title in 43 years.
