TOKYO (Kyodo) — Japan’s Hayabusa2 spacecraft successfully executed a close flyby of the asteroid Torifune on Sunday, passing within approximately 800 meters of the celestial body, according to reports from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
