Earlier this week, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn indicated a strong likelihood of safety Minkah Fitzpatrick returning to the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, with the veteran player showing positive progress as the matchup nears.
Fitzpatrick participated fully in Thursday’s practice, marking his first complete session since sustaining a groin injury during the Week 1 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Although the Jets will release official injury designations on Friday, current signs point to a probable return for the experienced defender to the secondary.
In a contrasting development, linebacker Kingsley Enagbare, who had been limited on Wednesday, sat out practice entirely due to a knee concern. Other players who remained absent included running back Breece Hall (quad), wide receiver Adonai Mitchell (finger), guard Dylan Parham (knee), tight end Mason Taylor (thumb), and linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (quad).
Tight ends Jeremy Ruckert (knee) and Kenyon Sadiq (back) were listed as limited participants for the second consecutive day of practice.
