With Halloween approaching, Jimmy Fallon and guest Jamie Lee Curtis delivered a pitch-perfect recreation of the viral interview from You Can See Everything.
During Wednesday’s episode of NBC’s The Tonight Show, six-time Emmy-winning host Jimmy Fallon channeled Nathan Fielder’s signature interviewing style to question Jamie Lee Curtis, who portrayed disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, in the show’s cold open.
“Be honest—do you really want to be on the show tonight?” Fallon asked, echoing Fielder’s now-memeified line of questioning from the widely circulated teaser. Curtis responded in an uncanny Holmes impression: “Of course I do. I love talking to you.”
Fallon followed up, “So you’re not just here to promote your new show Newlyweds?”
As the sketch continued, Fallon appeared satisfied with her responses before stepping away to give her privacy. “Thank God! Fuck, what an asshole,” Curtis said, dropping the composed Holmes persona.
The parody arrives as Lance Oppenheim’s documentary crosses $45 million worldwide in A24’s gradual theatrical expansion, building buzz for its acclaimed portrayal of the incarcerated Theranos founder.
