Jisoo, the singer and actress best known as a member of K-pop group Blackpink, has signed with talent agency WME for worldwide representation.
The agreement coincides with Jisoo’s expanding solo music career. Last week, she released “Addicted,” a moody dance-pop track about being powerless against attraction. The song has topped iTunes Top Songs charts in 28 regions and reached number one on the iTunes Worldwide Songs chart.
“Addicted” follows “Click,” her first pre-album single. The pop track tells the story of two people from vastly different backgrounds who find their way to one another.
Outside of music, Jisoo has remained active throughout 2026. Earlier this year, she completed Blackpink’s Deadline World Tour, a sold-out stadium run across North America, Europe, and Asia. She starred in the Netflix romantic comedy series “Boyfriend on Demand,” which debuted in March, made her first Met Gala appearance in May, and partnered with Off-White and Pokémon on brand collaborations.
Jisoo launched her solo career in 2023 with her debut EP, “Me,” which became the first record by a female soloist in South Korea to surpass 1 million in sales. The breakout single “Flower” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 1 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. Its music video also drew the largest 24-hour audience of any K-pop video released that year.
She followed up with the 2025 mini-album “Amortage,” featuring “Earthquake” and “Your Love.” She also released “Eyes Closed,” a collaboration with Zayn that became her second solo entry in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart. The song reached No. 20 on the Global 200 and peaked at No. 72 on the Hot 100.
WME’s music division represents a roster that includes Adele, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Olivia Rodrigo, Rihanna, Shakira, and The Weeknd.
