The Bengals realized they must overcome early deficits before they can compete effectively this season.
After spotting the Ravens a lead in the first half of Week 7, the Bengals rallied to a 35‑13 victory. In their most recent game, they fell 13‑0 early against the Titans but fought back throughout, ultimately securing a 43‑36 overtime win.
During postgame press conferences, Burrow and his teammates addressed their sluggish beginnings, yet Burrow emphasized the final score, noting that the recent comeback victories signal progress in addressing longstanding issues.
Burrow noted, “We found a way to win today and improved to 5‑2. Over the past three seasons we struggled to secure wins, making victories difficult. While perfection isn’t realistic, we are committed to continued improvement. Success comes from both wins and losses, good and bad plays, and that’s the path to growth in the NFL.”
Burrow threw three interceptions while adding five touchdown passes and the game‑winning rushing touchdown. He admitted that limiting critical errors is essential, but repeatedly emphasized the team’s ability to find ways to win, a trend that had been absent in previous seasons.
