“Don’t throw away your ticket stubs, I’m gonna figure something out,” the singer said from the stage before ending the night early
On Thursday night, Jon Bon Jovi concluded his Madison Square Garden concert after a 90-minute set, citing a sinus infection as the reason for the early termination. He apologized to the audience, promising to reschedule future shows. “Hold onto your ticket stubs—we’ll figure out how to bring this back,” he said, before bidding farewell.
The performance ended midway through, with Bon Jovi informing fans he needed to rest due to his health. “I feel great, but I have to cool it for the night,” he shared, assuring the crowd he would return soon.
As he left the stage, the singer embraced his bandmates and gave a thumbs-up gesture to enthusiastic fans, who cheered his goodwill exit.
A spokesperson for Bon Jovi later confirmed the cancellation in a statement to Rolling Stone, stating, “Jon Bon Jovi spoke from stage about battling a sinus infection, which necessitated ending the show early. This is part of his ongoing Bonus Jovi residency at MSG, where he has expressed joy in returning to live performances.”

The interruption comes after Bon Jovi’s recent return to touring, four years after vocal cord surgery forced him to pause performances. In June, he revealed to People that he was “fully recovered,” calling the recovery process longer than expected but necessary.
Bon Jovi commended his bandmates for their unwavering support during his hiatus. “They never doubted me or pursued other opportunities,” he said in an interview. “Their commitment to standing by me has only strengthened my love for them—their dedication is extraordinary.”
