KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Wings, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, have announced the re-signing of defenseman and team captain Collin Saccoman for the 2026-27 season.
Serving as team captain last season, the 29-year-old blueliner posted career highs with eight goals, 14 assists, and a plus-8 rating.
The fifth-year professional tallied a personal-best 25 points across 72 games in 2024-25. Saccoman has worn the ‘C’ for the past two campaigns and has spent his entire pro tenure in Kalamazoo, accumulating 87 points (27 goals, 60 assists) in 282 regular-season appearances.
Prior to turning professional, Saccoman skated in 117 games for Lake Superior State University from 2016 to 2020, serving as co-captain during his senior year. He registered 46 points (20 goals, 36 assists) at the collegiate level and was a two-time selection to the WCHA All-Academic Team, also earning WCHA Scholar-Athlete honors on two occasions.
