Kenny Omega made his comeback on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, featured in a special episode honoring Pac. This marks his first match since conceding the world championship to Will Ospreay in what was widely praised as a “match of the year” contender.
Omega reunited with Hangman Page and the Young Bucks, reforming The Elite for the night. They faced off against Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, Trent Beretta, and Rocky Romero, all representing the Don Callis Family.
Storyline‑wise, Fletcher and Knight are set to challenge the Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team titles they recently captured. Omega’s previous outing was his defeat to Will Ospreay at the August All In event.
The bout concluded when Omega executed a One Winged Angel on Beretta, following coordinated attacks from The Elite. After the victory, the team celebrated with a group embrace.
Prior to the contest, an emotional Hangman Page delivered a heartfelt backstage interview, reflecting on the impact Pac has had on him.
Omega and Pac first crossed swords at the inaugural All Out in 2019 and maintained a long‑running rivalry that culminated in a best‑of‑seven series for the AEW Trios championship, pitting Omega and the Bucks against Pac, Penta, and Rey Fenix.
