KL Rahul ends ODI series with sensational unbeaten 129
Rahul had limited time in the middle during the first two ODIs, as India chased down targets efficiently without requiring his services. However, he seized the opportunity in the third and final match. Arriving at the crease following the dismissal of a well-set Rohit Sharma, Rahul initially anchored the innings before accelerating aggressively during the death overs.
He finished unbeaten on a career-best 129 off just 87 deliveries, an innings studded with 10 fours and six sixes. The knock marked Rahul’s ninth ODI century and also saw him surpass the 10,000-run milestone in international cricket across all formats, capping a memorable series before a brief hiatus from the national setup.
