Konami Announces Global ‘Castlevania’ 40th Anniversary Orchestral Tour

Konami has confirmed it will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Castlevania series with a trio of orchestral concerts, discounted games, a free original app, and new vinyl soundtrack releases.

The gothic horror action‑adventure franchise launched in 1986 with Castlevania and Vampire Killer, evolving over four decades into numerous sequels, spin‑offs, and two celebrated Netflix series.

As part of the anniversary, Konami is making music from the series available for streaming and releasing additional soundtracks on vinyl. The first two vinyl pressings—the original Castlevania soundtrack and the music from 1997’s Castlevania: Symphony of the Night—have already been announced. The soundtrack from Castlevania: Black & Red will be available for streaming on September 26.

The centerpiece is the “Castlevania 40th Anniversary: An Orchestral Concert” tour, set for early 2027 in Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles. Exact dates and ticketing details will be revealed soon.

“It’s been 40 years since the series was born,” Castlevania producers wrote on the anniversary site. “To celebrate this momentous occasion with everyone who has supported the series, we will be offering the original Castlevania app for free for a limited time. We have also prepared special discount sales on other series titles and celebratory videos, so we hope you will enjoy those as well. We have various developments planned for the series in the future, so please look forward to them.”
