Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy confirmed on Wednesday that power supply has been fully restored to all residential areas previously impacted by outages. The disruptions were attributed to multiple overhead transmission lines going offline, which caused electricity shortages in various regions across the country. Emergency response teams successfully re-established grid connectivity through coordinated repair efforts, resolving the situation after initial assessments. Separately, Bahrain’s Electricity and Water Authority announced that a limited power outage affecting select areas had been addressed, with full service recovery achieved according to the state news agency BNA.
Several power transmission lines went out of service, causing electricity outages in scattered areas across the country.
