Chicago head coach Ben Johnson has been candid about his lack of affinity for the Packers, a sentiment Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur has provided ample reason to sustain.

Since taking over the Packers in 2019, LaFleur holds a 12-3 record against Chicago, postseason results included. His 80% win percentage stands as the highest produced by any coach with at least 10 games played against the Bears.

Johnson, however, has won the last two matchups, finishing the 2025 regular season strong before closing it out in the wild-card round. A three-game winning streak against Green Bay has eluded Chicago since 2005-06, yet the Bears are favored to defeat the Packers at Lambeau Field for the first time in 20 years.

Chicago’s defense has evolved into a genuine strength, holding opponents to 12 points or fewer in three straight games. The last team to manage such a run over four consecutive contests was the 2017 Eagles, who went on to win the Super Bowl that year.
