Kyle Busch fans have a compelling reason to tune in this weekend as two of NASCAR’s biggest stars honor one of the sport’s most iconic figures.
Kyle Larson will debut a familiar look at Las Vegas, paying tribute to Busch’s legendary Kellogg’s No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports scheme.
The timing is fitting.
Las Vegas was Busch’s hometown track, and now it serves as the backdrop for this nostalgic tribute.
Then comes Bristol, where Ty Gibbs will run the No. 54 in M&M’s colors, honoring the branding synonymous with Busch during his Joe Gibbs Racing tenure.
That might prove the more fitting homage of the two.
Busch won eight Cup Series races at Bristol and completed two weekend sweeps there. He was dominant at that track, and now fans will see those colors return to the racing surface.
