Details have emerged regarding the custom attire Lewis Hamilton wore for his striking arrival at the Italian Grand Prix in September. The seven-time world champion commanded immediate attention at the Monza circuit, pulling up in his meticulously restored Ferrari F40 before stepping out in a sharp black suit layered beneath a tan overcoat. He subsequently changed into a bespoke Khaite ensemble for a photoshoot alongside the iconic supercar.
Although Khaite does not currently offer a dedicated menswear line, Hamilton collaborated with his longtime stylist, Eric McNeal, to commission a custom creation reminiscent of a look from the brand’s Fall 2026 runway collection. The all-black outfit was accessorized with a black beret and matching boots, completing a cohesive, high-fashion aesthetic.
The appearance drew widespread acclaim across social media, with fans praising the driver’s sartorial precision. “He never misses,” noted one Instagram user, while another commented, “He showed this girl what true style looks like.” A third observer simply stated, “Everything looks better on Lewis.”
The 41-year-old revealed he had acquired the F40 ahead of the Italian Grand Prix weekend, following the sale of his previous car collection. “My very own F40. This is the car of my dreams and has been for as long as I can remember,” Hamilton wrote on Instagram.
“As a kid I dreamt of having one. When I joined Ferrari last year I made sure to have one with me on my first day at Maranello. That’s how much it means to me,” he continued. “These cars are works of art and incredibly rare, so when I found this one, covered in dust after being sat in a garage for over thirty years, I knew I had to bring her home.”
Hamilton detailed the extensive restoration process undertaken by Ferrari’s master engineers and mechanics at the Maranello factory, who spent weeks returning the vehicle to its former glory. He expressed deep gratitude to the team involved, calling the project a “dream come true” and teasing further content to come.
