Lil Baby has released a new single, “Dead Fresh,” produced by Pharrell Williams. This marks the first-ever collaboration between the two artists. The track premiered during Louis Vuitton’s Menswear Spring-Summer 2027 show in Paris in June.
“Money coming in, I put my nanny in Chanel/ Made it out the slum, I got my granny pushing a Maybach,” the rapper spits. “If I lose it all, is you gon’ hold it down for real?/ Hold up, hold up, this beat came from Pharrell.”
A music video for the song, directed by Kid Art, is set to arrive on Monday. The rapper has shared a trailer featuring golf, luxury cars, and high-end fashion.
The Louis Vuitton menswear show, held at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, showcased Pharrell Williams’ editorial collaborations, including tracks from Lil Baby, Quavo, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. As Louis Vuitton’s menswear Creative Director, Williams has utilized the brand’s runway shows to debut new music.
Rolling Stone noted that “the album is full of these perfectly constructed vibes that make WHAM a strong offering from Lil Baby, whose promised two projects for 2025. So far, he’s off to a good start.”
