Little Grandad have announced their highly anticipated debut album, *Speak Softly, Son*, and released the harmonizing single *Tiny Feet*, available for listening below.
The London-based band will launch their first full-length album on January 22, 2027, with pre-orders and pre-saves available through their official channels.
Produced by Kev Jones of *Wunderhorse*, the album was recorded in Crouch End, London, during brief intervals between the group’s extensive touring schedule.
The single *Tiny Feet* highlights the band’s distinctive close-knit vocal harmonies, opening with soft, hushed guitar work before building into a lush, dynamic arrangement.

*Speak Softly, Son* follows Little Grandad’s debut performance at The Windmill in Brixton last summer, marking a year of rapid growth for the group.
Fronted by brothers Jack Lower (bass/vocals) and Harry Lower (guitar/vocals), the band began collaborating after relocating to their family home post-university. Their approach centers on “blood harmonies,” drawing inspiration from iconic songwriters like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Neil Young.
In a July interview with *NME*, Jack Lower explained the band’s decision to bypass an EP: “We were like, we’re gonna skip the EP—let’s go straight for the album.”
Speaking further about their songwriting, Jack emphasized storytelling through music: “There’s a growing movement towards songs again. We want to tell you a story through this track, and that’s done with guitars.”

Little Grandad commence their UK headline tour tonight, September 1, in Bristol, with dates extending across the UK before concluding at London’s Scala on September 16.

Speaking to *NME*, Jack Lower revealed the band’s ultimate ambition: “To follow the Bob Dylan *Never Ending Tour* vibe. You don’t stop; people still want to sing the songs with you when you can barely sing them yourself. That is the ultimate aim. There is no other way.”
