The World Grand Prix will commence at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena on September 28, broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Uniquely, competitors must begin and end every leg on a double or the bullseye.
The 32-player field comprises the top 16 competitors from the PDC Werner Rankings Ladder alongside the top 16 ProTour Ranking players who have yet to qualify, all vying for double-start supremacy.
Defending champion Luke Littler will lead the field in Leicester, where the sport’s elite will compete for a newly increased £150,000 top prize and the prestigious title.
2023 champion Luke Humphries will also be seeking a second World Grand Prix title, while Dutch number one Gian van Veen returns to the venue where he shattered a record average last year in a defeat to Littler.

Six-time champion Michael van Gerwen and two-time winner James Wade will also feature, alongside Welsh duo Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton, who claimed the title in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
Northern Irish number one Josh Rock and two-time semi-finalist Danny Noppert will also be in attendance, while Stephen Bunting and Wessel Nijman return to Leicester.
