Local Baseball Roundup: Adams and Escano Shine as North County Secures Win; Schedule Updates

North County 10, Northbridge 8: Adam Adams delivered a standout performance with two triples and three RBIs, while Sebastian Escano contributed two singles and three RBIs. Will Gage added a double and three RBIs as North County (6-0-1) scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to secure a victory over Northbridge (4-4).

J.J. Walker drove in a run and stolen bases for Post 193.

Dylan Diosomito, Jack Marino, and Antonio D’Alfonso each recorded two hits, with Diosomito and Marino recording doubles and a triple, and D’Alfonso adding a double and RBI for Post 343.

Milford 13, Cherry Valley 10: Brayden Lewis finished 2 for 4 with a double, four RBIs, and three runs, while Josh Bouchard doubled twice and drove in a run. Ben Maiorano was 3 for 6 with a double, stolen base, and three runs as visiting Milford (7-2) rallied past Cherry Valley (2-5).

Cole McGovern struck out six over 2⅓ innings for Post 59.

Jacoby Buniowski singled twice and drove in a run, Braden Beando added a single and two RBIs, and Raymond Romero hit a home run with three RBIs for Post 443.

Futures Collegiate League

Norwich 3, Bravehearts 2: Dante Ruby went 2 for 3 with a double and solo home run, and Hunter St. Denis recorded two singles and an RBI. Despite these efforts, the host Bravehearts fell to the Sea Monsters, who limited Norwich to two runs across four pitchers and six hits.
