This Is Lorelei visited Santa Monica’s public radio station, KCRW, today, performing five songs from his latest album, The Singer in My Band. Backed by a four‑piece ensemble—bassist Al Nardo, keyboardist Bailey Wollowitz, and drummer Cameron Wisch—he played “I Will Eat My Heart In The Morning Light,” “Billy Came Back,” “Watching Heaven Fall,” and the album’s title track. He concluded the set with “The Kid With The Crown.” The full performance can be heard below.
The Singer in My Band was released in September and marks Amos’s debut for Matador Records. He is currently touring in support of the record, which he describes as a “road record,” with openers including Bleachers and @. This summer he also toured with his side project, Water From Your Eyes, who released their most recent album, It’s a Beautiful Place, in 2025.
