Madonna has hinted that she may finally headline Glastonbury in 2027.
The pop icon is preparing to release her 15th studio album on July 3, a spiritual successor to her 2005 record ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’, and she discussed the project on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, June 26.
Regarding her upcoming tour, Madonna indicated that 2027 might finally be the year she headlines the Worthy Farm festival, after earlier speculation that she would perform on the Pyramid Stage in 2024, which ultimately did not materialise.
Recently, Glastonbury resurfaced as a possibility. Madonna said she would first embark on promotional tours and, in the summer, plan a larger event, she told Norton.
Norton responded enthusiastically, “That sounds exciting. I think I understand,” before asking, “Is it in this country?”
She answered, “It could be. Why should I reveal everything?”

The teaser follows her recent time in Paris with Charli XCX, who headlined the Other Stage last year.
Their outing followed buzz generated by Charli XCX’s new single ‘Rock Music’, from her forthcoming album ‘Music, Fashion, Film’, in which she declared, “I think the dancefloor is dead, so now we’re making rock music”.
Madonna told Norton that dancing is integral to her being, noting that it is in her DNA and fosters community, and she replied on Instagram, “If your dance floor feels dead, perhaps you’re playing the wrong music.”
The two were seen together at Fashion Week, quelling rumours of tension, and Charli later described the experience as “very inspiring.”
She admitted that, although not a fan in her youth, she has come to appreciate Madonna’s work more deeply as she matured.
She explained, “I became more interested in music as art, which marked the start of my Madonna phase,” adding that her first favorite song was ‘Hollywood’, which truly struck her.

Madonna’s upcoming ‘Confessions II’ marks her first album since 2019’s ‘Madame X’ and reunites her with ‘Confessions’ producer Stuart Price.
To celebrate the release, Madonna surprised New York City fans with an impromptu performance in Times Square and unveiled a star‑studded short film featuring Sabrina Carpenter, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kate Moss, Julia Garner, Shygirl, Richard E. Grant, Honey Dijon, and others.
The ‘Vogue’ singer has been named a co‑headliner for the inaugural FIFA World Cup halftime show alongside Shakira and BTS, and she urged fans to put their phones away and engage with the performance.
Kylie Minogue addressed rumours of a guest appearance on the record, while Linda Perry has voiced interest in producing for Madonna, criticising her recent material as “weak” and “trying to compete with Charli XCX.”
Madonna plans an intimate London listening party for ‘Confessions II’ at the beginning of July and will appear in an episode of The Studio focusing on her long‑delayed biopic, which she recently said was cancelled because of budget constraints.
Ahead of Glastonbury 2027, bookmakers are already accepting wagers on potential headliners, with names such as Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna and Little Simz circulating.
