Mamdani Calls for U.S. Arrest of Netanyahu During Potential Visit
In a social media video released on July 21, New York City official Zohran Mamdani called upon the U.S. federal government to take custody of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should he visit the United States later this year. Mamdani made these remarks after acknowledging that he lacks the legal jurisdiction to enforce the International Criminal Court’s (ICC) arrest warrant.
