[“TITLE”Man Arrested in Connection with Greg Biffle’s Home Burglary Amid Ongoing Investigation”
NASCAR legend Greg Biffle’s family recently suffered a devastating loss when Greg, his wife Cristina, and their two children tragically died in a plane crash on December 18, 2025. Now, as authorities uncover further details surrounding a robbery linked to the Biffle estate, new clues emerge about the crime.
According to Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell, Terrell Williams, a 44-year-old from Georgia, has been charged with multiple felonies, including burglary, safe cracking, and possession of burglary tools. Williams, who is currently being held without bond in Cobb County, Georgia, is suspected of a separate burglary involving a homicide.
The break-in occurred at the Biffle residence on January 8, 2026, during which items worth at least $30,000 were stolen, including cash, NASCAR memorabilia, and two Glock handguns. Some of the stolen goods, including silver and gold medals from the Superstar Racing Experience, have since been recovered.
Investigators discovered a radio-frequency detector, which they believe was used by Williams to locate security cameras during the burglary. Additionally, surveillance footage suggested the presence of other individuals at the scene, and Venmo and PayPal activity tied to the Biffle family’s accounts shows fraudulent transactions occurring across multiple states.
Sheriff Campbell emphasized the complexity of the case, stating, “There are signs of a white-collar nexus, and we have a person of interest.” While Williams is not being charged with the 2019 break-in in Mecklenburg County, authorities are continuing their investigation to determine if more individuals were involved.
