Recent activities include ongoing forestry operations at various training areas, with associated temporary road closures where required for public safety during felling work.
Latest Updates:
- 10 August 2026 – New road closures implemented for ash dieback felling operations on part of Imber Road, Warminster.
- 11 March 2025 – Updated documentation to include details of upcoming felling and road closures on Bovington Training Area.
- 13 February 2025 – General update to ash dieback management information across MOD estate.
- 6 December 2024 – Routine update to ash dieback monitoring and response protocols.
The MOD works with forestry experts and environmental agencies to ensure disease control measures are carried out efficiently while minimizing disruption to military training operations and local communities.
