Diego Maradona’s 1986 World Cup ball has sold for $3.35 million. The historic ball, used during the controversial “Hand of God” goal against England, was later part of a moment that immediately preceded his “Goal of the Century” when he dribbled past five opponents. Argentina won the match 2‑1 and went on to lift the World Cup trophy.
