On his YouTube channel, Maven, the winner of Tough Enough Season 1, regularly posts provocative headlines that suggest he’ll criticize someone, only to deliver measured, respectful critiques in the actual videos. However, he has drawn attention from both fans and fellow performers for his pointed remarks about Triple H, particularly regarding the WWE’s corporate decisions.
In a recent video titled “Why I Hate Triple H” — which includes numerous compliments for Paul Levesque — Maven revealed that his frustrations stemmed from corporate-level issues tied to Triple H’s engagement to Stephanie McMahon. Specifically, he discussed how talent were compelled to attend Triple H’s bachelor party.
“And you’re saying, Maven, how did they force you to go to his bachelor party?” he asked rhetorically. “Here’s how: We would arrive on Friday, perform three non-televised house shows, then Monday night on Monday Night Raw, and fly home every Tuesday. That was the routine, week after week. Well, the company decided to host Triple H’s bachelor party on a Tuesday night at a North Carolina strip club, and conveniently scheduled our flights for Wednesday. We had no choice but to attend. I can’t recall anyone skipping it. Why? Because most of the guys were there simply because they didn’t want to be the one person who skipped Triple H’s bachelor party.”
However, there was one notable exception. “Who would that guy be? Triple H himself,” Maven noted. “We were at the club all night, and Triple H showed up only in the last 20 minutes before closing. Now, I don’t know how many guys would have attended his bachelor party if they’d simply been invited, but I can guarantee you and I both know it wouldn’t have been nearly as many as showed up, since they were flying us out the next day.”
“Hell, he didn’t even want to be there. Why would I want to be there?”
