A $360 million investment across Southeast Asia aims to increase capacity by 30% as AI demand spreads beyond chips.

TOKYO — MinebeaMitsumi will allocate 58 billion yen (approximately $360 million) to expand production of precision bearings for cooling systems and storage devices in AI data centers, as demand for such components grows beyond semiconductors into the wider electronics sector.
