Ministry will release their 17th and final studio album, Hate To Go (Take Out or Delivery), on October 30, 2023, via Cleopatra Records. The band shared the album’s lead single, “Burned Out,” as a preview of the record.
“Completely at peace with the fact that it’s done,” frontman Al Jourgensen stated. “I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path Ministry has taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride—now it’s time to herd goats.”
Hate To Go (Take Out or Delivery) honors legacy member Paul Barker on the closing track “We’re Still Here.” The album features Jourgensen’s current lineup: guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, synth/sampler player John Bechdel, and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.
The album will debut in multiple formats, including vinyl, CD, cassettes, and digital. Select vinyl pressings and box sets will be available, with preorders and digital pre-saves accessible now.
Ministry will celebrate their legacy with an international farewell tour beginning in 2027. The “Goodbye Europe Tour,” featuring special guests Die Krupps, launches April 2, 2027, in Utrecht, Netherlands. Subsequent European dates will be followed by a full U.S. run, with exact dates and venues impending. Tour attendees will enjoy exclusive perks such as meet-and-greets with Jourgensen, photo opportunities, commemorative passes, silk-screen posters, and limited-edition tour coins.
Additional U.S. dates slated for 2026 include Chicago’s Salt Shed, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Sick New World Texas.
Al Jourgensen founded Ministry in Chicago in 1981. Over four decades, the band has become a cornerstone of industrial music, releasing 17 studio albums, eight live albums, eight side projects, and two documentaries.
