Court Bauer has confirmed that MLW has been in discussions with Tessa Blanchard, revealing the news in a new interview. The MLW owner recently spoke with Who’s The Champ, and during the discussion he said that some big names will be appearing in MLW soon. Host Chris Helms asked if Blanchard was one of those names, and he didn’t say yes but did confirm there have been discussions.
“She’s been someone that has been in the mix since she became a free agent and people have been wondering about her in MLW,” Bauer said (per Fightful). I can confirm, we are in talks with Tessa. That’s about all I can confirm at this point, but you know, she’s incredibly talented.”
Blanchard was last with TNA in terms of American-based companies and was granted her release in mid-June. Blanchard confirmed that she chose to leave TNA when the company told her she had to pick between TNA and CMLL. She has remained active in CMLL.
There is no word as of now on when or if Blanchard will appear on MLW TV.
